I started writing The Middler as a way to offer support and encouragement to people—mostly women—who are in the same spot that I’m in right now: middle aged, pursuing a career while also providing dementia care for a loved one, generally just trying to get from one day to the next. (When I say I’m writing from the thick of it, I’m not joking.) If this sounds like you, then I hope you’ll consider subscribing. And I hope my posts will help you remember that you’re not alone on what is sometimes a very lonely, very frightening journey.

A paid subscription will provide you with access to current posts and everything I’ve written up to this point. Subscriptions (paid or otherwise) give me the encouragement I need to keep writing—so thanks in advance for your support as we muddle through the middle together.
